How to Archive Issues in Linear
In Linear, auto-archiving helps keep your workspace clean by automatically archiving stale issues. Here’s how it works and how you can configure it:
Click on your profile picture.
Select 'Settings'.
Select a team.
Go to the 'Workflow' section and select 'Issues & automations'.
Adjust the Auto-Archive period.
Some teams may have options to adjust the auto-archive timing, but by default, Linear follows the 28-day rule for completed issues and 7-day rule for canceled ones.
The issues that have been cancelled or completed will now go directly to the team's archive section.
