How to Add Transparent Images to Google Slides
Try this interactive demo to learn how to add transparent images to Google Slides.
📌 Why this matters
Transparent images let you layer visual elements without blocking underlying content, creating professional-looking slides with depth and visual hierarchy. You can overlay logos on photos, add watermarks that don't interfere with text readability, or create subtle background effects that enhance rather than distract from your message. Beyond basic design, transparency becomes powerful for storytelling—revealing information progressively, creating before-and-after comparisons, or building visual metaphors where multiple elements blend seamlessly. This technique transforms static presentations into more dynamic, engaging experiences that guide your audience's attention exactly where you want it.
