Adding transitions in Canva lets you control how slides animate between pages in your presentation or video. You can choose a transition style, set its duration, pick a direction, and apply it uniformly across all pages in just a few clicks.
Steps
- Hover over a page thumbnail at the bottom of the editor and click the ellipsis icon to open page options.
- Click 'Add transition' to open the transitions panel.
- Hover your cursor over any transition option to preview how it looks before applying.
- Click on a transition style from the options to apply it to the selected page.
- Use the 'Duration (seconds)' slider or number box to adjust the transition duration.
- Select the direction of your transition — available options depend on the transition style chosen.
- Click 'Apply between all pages' to set a uniform transition throughout your entire presentation.
- Once satisfied, click 'Share' to save your presentation with all transitions applied.
