Adding headers and footers to a report in MS Access lets you display consistent titles, dates, or page numbers across every printed page. Using Design View, you can toggle the Report Header and Footer sections in just a few clicks without any coding.
Steps
- Open your database in Microsoft Access.
- Navigate to the Reports section in the navigation pane.
- Right-click on the report you want to modify and choose Design View from the context menu.
- Right-click anywhere in the report's design grid and select Report Header/Footer from the context menu.
- The Report Header and Report Footer sections will be automatically added to your report layout.
- Click the save icon to save your changes.
