How to Add Docs to Cursor

Adding documentation in Cursor allows the AI to reference external resources when generating or explaining code.

1. Open your Cursor editor and sign in to your account.
2. Click "Settings" from the upper-right corner of the editor.
3. Select the "Index & Docs" section in the settings menu.
4. Click "Add Docs" to add a new documentation source.
5. Enter the documentation URL or repository link you want Cursor to reference, then click Enter on your keyboard.
6. Click the Confirm button, and wait for the indexing process to complete so the docs become searchable.
7. Once indexing is finished, you're all set and Cursor can now reference the added documentation.
