Steps
- Navigate to Admin > Create in your Google Analytics interface.
- Select Account as the resource type to create.
- Enter an Account name for your new Google Analytics account.
- Set a Property name, update the Reporting time zone, and select your Currency.
- Click Next to proceed to the following setup step.
- Select any product communication checkboxes you want to opt into, then click Next.
- Choose your Business size and Industry, then hit Next.
- Select Get baseline reports as your business objective and click Create.
- Select the Platform you want to collect data for — choose Web to track website traffic.
- Check the agreement box and click Accept to finalize your Google Analytics account setup.
