Adding a Jira link in Confluence lets teams surface live issue tracking data directly inside their documentation pages. Using the built-in Jira Issue macro, you can search for or paste any issue URL and publish it in seconds.
Steps
- In your Jira dashboard, navigate to the menu to access your Confluence page.
- Under Apps, select Confluence.
- Open the Confluence page where you want to add the Jira link.
- In the editor, click the + (Insert More Content) button from the toolbar.
- Select Jira Issue from the content options.
- In the dialog box, search for or paste the Jira Issue Link.
- After selecting the issue, click Insert issues.
- Once satisfied with the content, click Publish to make the changes visible.
- Your Jira issues are now embedded in Confluence, enabling smoother collaboration and tracking.
