Steps

1. Log in to Zapier, click "Create," and select "Zaps" to start building your automation.
2. Click "Trigger" to begin setting up the trigger step of your Zap.
3. Search for and select Airtable as your trigger app.
4. Choose a trigger event, such as "New Record," to define what activates the Zap.
5. Connect your Airtable account to authorize Zapier access.
6. Select the Airtable base and table you want Zapier to monitor for changes.
7. Run a test to confirm Zapier successfully detects new records from your table.
8. Add Slack as the Action App in your Zap.
9. Select "Send Channel Message" as the Slack action event.
10. Connect your Slack account to Zapier to authorize the integration.
11. Choose the target Slack channel and customize the message content to include relevant fields from the Airtable record.
12. After testing the action, click "Publish" to activate your Zap and go live.
