Use this interactive demo to learn how to sync Mailchimp subscribers to Google Sheets automatically with Zapier.

Quick summary

This demo shows how to automate Mailchimp subscriber list management using a Zapier Zap that detects new subscribers and sends their data directly to a Google Sheets spreadsheet. In under 12 steps, you can connect Mailchimp and Google Sheets without writing a single line of code.

Steps

  1. Log in to Zapier, click Create, and select Zaps to start the automation process.
  2. Click Trigger to begin configuring the trigger step of your Zap.
  3. Search for and select Mailchimp as the trigger app.

  5. Connect your Mailchimp account to Zapier by authorizing access.
  6. Select the Mailchimp audience or list from which you want to pull subscriber data.
  7. Run a test to ensure Zapier successfully detects a new subscriber from your list.
  8. Add Google Sheets as the Action App in your Zap.
  9. Choose Create Spreadsheet Row as the action event, then connect your Google account.
  10. Fill in the necessary fields to map Mailchimp subscriber data to the correct spreadsheet columns.

  12. Click Publish to activate your Zap and start the automation.

📌 Why this matters

Manually managing Mailchimp subscriber lists is time-consuming and error-prone, especially as audiences grow. This Zapier automation eliminates manual data entry by instantly syncing every new Mailchimp subscriber into a Google Sheets spreadsheet in real time. Teams can use the live spreadsheet data for reporting, segmentation, or feeding into other workflows without touching Mailchimp directly. For marketers and operations teams, this no-code Zap is a practical way to keep subscriber data organized, accessible, and always up to date.
