SOC 2 Certification: Taking Software Security Seriously

We’re thrilled to announce that Storylane has now achieved SOC 2 compliance!

We always believed that our internal processes and procedures were in line with SOC2 standards. This certification gives us the third party validation to signal to our customers and partners that Storylane takes this seriously. 

What is SOC 2?

SOC 2 is a comprehensive third-party external audit established by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), aimed at defining guidelines for the management of customer data by software platforms. 

The AICPA has developed a set of robust Trust Services Criteria centered around five core principles: 

• Security
• Availability
• Processing integrity
• Confidentiality and 
• Privacy

Organizations that successfully demonstrate exceptional security practices in each category within a specified audit window are granted SOC 2 Type II certification. SOC 2 has become an industry-standard, instilling the highest level of confidence in our customers regarding Storylane's security measures and compliance track record.

To ensure the integrity of Storylane's SOC 2 Type II examination, it was conducted by Prescient Assurance and closely monitored by Vanta, a renowned leader in automated SOC 2 monitoring. 

At the conclusion of the examination, Storylane was pleased to receive a flawless report, achieving a perfect score of 100% with no exceptions identified.
