Quick summary
Text wrapping in WordPress lets you flow content around an image block by setting its alignment to left or right inside the block editor. This tutorial walks through every step from opening a post to resizing and previewing the final text-wrap layout.
Steps
- Go to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Posts or Pages, and open the content where you want to add text wrapping.
- If you haven't already added an image, click the + button to add a new block.
- Select the Image block from the block inserter.
- Upload or select an image from your Media Library.
- Once the image is added, click on it to reveal the image block toolbar.
- Choose the alignment options from the toolbar — select Align Left or Align Right to enable text wrapping.
- Click on the image and drag its corners to resize the image and adjust the text wrapping effect.
- Confirm that the text flows around the image based on its alignment.
- Review the final layout to ensure you have effectively controlled how text wraps around images and other elements in your WordPress content.
