How to Use Auto Captions in Clipchamp

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to use auto captions in Clipchamp.

1. Open a video project.
2. A video clip should be present in the timeline.
3. Look at the right-side editing panel.
4. Click the Captions tab to open caption tools.
5. Here you can generate captions automatically. Click Try now.
6. Always select the language spoken in the video or auto caption results will be incorrect.
7. A transcript from video audio is automatically generated with timestamps.
8. You can download generated captions as SRT.
9. Toggle Hide captions in video if you want to hide captions when playing the video.
10. Click Turn off autocaptions if you want it removed.
