Use this interactive demo to learn how to send documents for e-signature directly from PandaDoc.

Quick summary

PandaDoc lets you share documents for signing by assigning signature fields to recipients and delivering them via email in just a few clicks. This end-to-end document sending workflow ensures every signer receives the right fields and gets notified instantly.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Documents tab on the left-hand panel.
  2. Open an existing document that requires signatures.
  3. In the document editor, locate the Recipients section.
  4. Assign each signature field to the appropriate recipient by selecting their name from the dropdown menu associated with the field.
  5. Click the Send button at the top of the page.
  6. In the sending options, choose Email to deliver the document directly to the recipients' inboxes.

📌 Why this matters

Sharing documents for e-signature is one of the most critical steps in any contract or approval workflow, and PandaDoc streamlines the entire process in one place. By allowing users to assign signature fields to specific recipients and send documents via email directly from the editor, PandaDoc eliminates manual handoffs and reduces turnaround time. This makes it an essential tool for sales, legal, and operations teams that need fast, trackable, and legally binding document signatures. The ability to manage recipients, fields, and delivery in a single platform helps businesses close deals and finalize agreements faster.
