How to Set Up Goals in ActiveCampaign

Here’s a step by step tutorial on how to set up goals in ActiveCampaign:

  1. Click 'Automations' on the left menu.
  2. Click 'Edit' for the automation you want to edit.
  3. Click the '+' icon to add your goal.
  4. Click 'Conditions and Workflow'.
  5. Click the 'Goal' option.
  6. Use the segment builder to set your Goal conditions.
  7. Click the 'And when this goal is' dropdown.
  8. Select either 'Below the contact's position' or 'Anywhere'.
  9. Click the 'If the contact does not meet goal conditions' dropdown and choose an option.
  10. This determines the action contacts will take when encountering this action in your automation but do not meet the goal conditions.
  11. This option is available on Marketing Professional and Marketing Enterprise plans only.
  12. Click the 'Save' button.
