How to Personalize Email in HubSpot

Steps

  1. Navigate to Marketing in the left pane and select Email.
  2. Open your draft email from the email list.
  3. Click in the email body at the exact spot where you want to insert personalisation.
  4. Click the Personalize button in the editor toolbar.
  5. Pick tokens by choosing the type (Contact or Company) and the property (name, industry, etc.), for example "Hi [Contact First Name]" or "[Company Industry] solutions".
  6. Click Preview and Send to open the email preview mode.
  7. Hit the Preview button to render the email with live personalisation applied.
  8. Click Choose contact and select a contact from your list to see how the email appears for that specific recipient.
  9. Review how your email looks with all personalisation tokens resolved and confirm the output is correct.
