Quick summary
Merging duplicate contacts in HubSpot keeps your CRM clean and ensures all contact data is consolidated under a single record. The merge contacts feature lets you select a primary and secondary contact, then combine them in just a few clicks from the Contacts list.
Steps
- Click on Contacts in the HubSpot navigation menu.
- Select Contacts again to reveal the full contact list.
- Click to preview the contact you want to merge.
- Click on Actions in the contact record toolbar.
- Find Merge in the Actions dropdown menu.
- Click to reveal the search dropdown for selecting the secondary contact.
- Find and select the secondary contact you want to merge from the dropdown.
- Hit Merge to complete the process and combine the contacts.
