Steps
- Navigate to the Space, Folder, or List where you want to create the timeline view.
- Click the '+View' icon next to the existing views at the top of the page.
- From the dropdown menu, select 'Timeline'.
- Name your new timeline view when prompted.
- Open the timeline settings to customize the view to your preferences.
- Click on the space under a date to add and manage tasks on the timeline.
- Enter a task name in the empty field provided.
- Add an assignee, priority, and time estimate, then click 'Save' to save the task.
- Review your first task now appearing on the timeline view.
- Open the task and write a comment to collaborate with your team.
- Your ClickUp timeline is ready — use it to visualize and track tasks and project milestones over time.
