How to Log a Call in Salesforce

Steps

  1. Navigate to Leads in the menu bar at the top of Salesforce.
  2. Click on the lead record whose call you want to log.
  3. Look for the telephone icon in the right column, or find Call Log under the Activity tab if it is not visible there.
  4. Enter a subject and a comment describing the conversation you had with the lead.
  5. Click Save to store the call log against the lead record.
  6. Confirm the task created prompt to verify the call was successfully logged.
