This tutorial shows how to integrate Calendly with Copper using a Zapier Zap, so that new Calendly bookings automatically trigger actions in your Copper CRM. The process takes under 20 minutes and requires no coding — just your Calendly account, a Copper API token, and a free Zapier account.
Steps
- Log in to Zapier, click Create, and select Zaps to begin building your automation.
- Click Trigger to start configuring the trigger step of your Zap.
- Search for and select Calendly as the Trigger App.
- Choose a trigger event, then sign in to your Calendly account to connect it.
- Enter a Webhook subscription scope to define which Calendly events will fire the trigger.
- Click Test trigger to verify that Calendly is sending data correctly.
- Select Continue to move on to the action step.
- Search for and select Copper as the action app.
- Choose an action event, then click Sign in to connect your Copper account.
- Fill in the required fields to configure what data gets sent to Copper.
- In your Copper dashboard, navigate to Settings then Integrations.
- Find Zapier in the integrations list and click Generate Zapier Token.
- Copy the generated API token from your Copper integrations page.
- Return to Zapier, paste the copied API token, and click Yes, Continue to Copper to authenticate.
- Complete and customize the required action fields to map Calendly data to Copper records.
- Click Test step to confirm the action runs successfully in Copper.
- Click Publish to activate the Zap and complete the Calendly–Copper integration.
