How to Give Developer Access to WordPress

‍

WordPress allows you to create user accounts with different roles, each with its own permissions. For a developer, the appropriate roles are usually Administrator or Editor. Here’s how to do it:

  1. On the left-hand menu, navigate to 'Users' and click on 'Add new user'.
  2. Select the role you want to assign to the developer by clicking the drop-down arrow.
  3. Enter the developer’s email address in the empty field.
  4. Click 'Add a message'.
  5. Once you're satisfied, click 'Send invitation' and WordPress will email them the invitation to access the site.
  6. That's it! You have successfully provided developer access to WordPress.
