Descript lets you download audio directly from any project by using the built-in Publish and Export workflow. You can choose from multiple audio formats including MP3, WAV, and M4A, and export a full track or a specific highlighted section.
Steps
- Open the Descript project that contains the audio or video you want to download.
- Select a specific section of the audio by highlighting the desired portion in the timeline.
- In the upper-right corner, click the "Publish" button to open the export menu.
- Choose the "Export" option from the menu.
- Select the "Audio" option to specify you want an audio-only download.
- Choose your preferred audio format — M4A, WAV, or MP3 — depending on your needs.
- After confirming your format and settings, click "Export" to download the audio file.
