How To Deactivate User in Salesforce
Here is a step-by-step tutorial to deactivate a user in Salesforce:
- Head over to the gear icon on the top right and select Setup from the dropdown.
- Look for Users under ADMINISTRATION in the left pane and select Users.
- Make sure the View dropdown says All users.
- Click on Edit in the leftmost column on the table.
- The User Edit screen will open, and you will see the Active box checked. Remove the checkmark.
- Save the settings by clicking on the Save button on the bottom.
- You will now see your selected user without the checkmark.
The unchecked box signifies that the user's access to Salesforce has been deactivated!
