How to Clean Up HubSpot Contacts

Here is a step-by-step tutorial to clean up HubSpot contacts:

  1. Look for contacts that are stuck in the early Lead Status or are still stuck in the Unqualified status.(CRM>Contacts> Lead Status)
  2. Or contacts from companies that are stuck in early lifecycle stages (e.g., cold contact) and haven't shown recent engagement. (CRM>Companies> Lifecycle Stage)
  3. Identify contacts with high bounce rates in your email marketing to remove those uninterested.(Marketing>Emails)
  4. Look for contacts with missing or outdated information, like email addresses.
  5. HubSpot's deduplication tools also help you find and merge duplicate contacts. (CRM> Contacts> Manage duplicates)

Note: You can use filters to find contacts for cleanup based on specific criteria.
