Steps

  1. Go to Contacts > Contacts in the HubSpot navigation.
  2. Click Create contact to open the new contact side panel.
  3. Enter the contact information in the side panel form fields.
  4. Check the box and click Create to save the contact as a marketing contact.
  5. To import contacts, select the contacts you want to mark as marketing contacts from the list.
  6. Click the More option in the toolbar to reveal bulk actions.
  7. Click Set as marketing contact to apply the status to all selected contacts.
  8. To mark existing contacts via import, click Import from the Contacts list view.
  9. Import the file you need from your device.
  10. Choose the file you want to import from your local storage.
  11. Check the box to confirm your contacts are organic and comply with HubSpot guidelines.
  12. Check the box labeled Set these contacts as marketing contacts to complete the import.
