How to Change Language in Descript

Descript lets you change the language of your project by translating captions directly within the Scene tab, with an optional Dub speech feature to match audio to the new language.

Steps

1. Open your project and go to the Scene tab on the right-hand side of the window.
2. Look for Captions and click on it.
3. Scroll down and click Translate captions.
4. Next to the Translate to option, choose your desired language from the dropdown menu.
5. Toggle the Dub speech option if you want the audio dubbed into the new language.
6. Click Submit to apply the language change in Descript.
