Quick summary
Adding an image in Webflow takes just a few steps using the Add Elements panel and the built-in Assets menu. Once placed, you can configure image settings directly from the pop-up menu or the right sidebar.
Steps
- Go to the Add Elements tab from the side menu.
- Scroll to the Media section or search for the Image element.
- Drag the image element to where you wish to place it on the canvas.
- A placeholder is added and the Image Settings pop-up opens; these settings are also accessible from the right sidebar menu.
- Click Choose image to replace the default placeholder with your own image.
- The Assets menu opens, allowing you to select an existing asset or drag images directly from the Assets menu or your system to upload.
- You have successfully added an image in Webflow.
