Quick summary
Adding contacts to a list in ActiveCampaign lets you segment your audience for targeted email marketing campaigns. This process takes under two minutes and can be completed directly from the Contacts section of your ActiveCampaign dashboard.
Steps
- Click Contacts on the left menu to navigate to the Contact Overview page.
- On the contact's menu, select Lists.
- Select the list you want to add a contact to.
- Click Add a contact.
- Type the contact's first name, last name, email, and phone number.
- Select an account to associate with the contact.
- Optionally, enter an account name and click the Add option to create a new account.
- Select an account owner for the contact.
- Type the job title of your contact.
- In Contact Actions, choose Add to Lists and select the desired list.
- Click Apply to confirm and save the contact to the list.
