Here's how to do it:
- Open your Descript project.
- Make sure you're on the timeline where your audio or video is located.
- Right-click on the part of the timeline where you want to add the pause.
- Select "Add gap clip". This will insert a brief silence/ gap at that location.
- You can adjust the duration of the silence by dragging the edges of the silent clip on the timeline.
