How To Add a Contact to a List in HubSpot

Use this interactive demo to learn how to bulk-select contacts and add them to a list in HubSpot.

Quick summary

Adding contacts to a list in HubSpot lets you segment your audience for targeted outreach and automation. This process takes under a minute using the Contacts menu and the More button to assign records to any existing list.


Steps

  1. Navigate to Contacts from the menu bar and select Contacts from the dropdown.
  2. Select all the contacts you want added to your desired list using the checkboxes.
  3. Find and click the More button above the Contacts list.
  4. Search for the list to which you want the contacts to be added.
  5. Hit the Add button to confirm the assignment.
  6. Verify the action is complete by confirming the success message that appears.
