Quick summary
Notion's synced block feature lets you reuse and sync content across multiple pages so that any edit made in one place automatically updates everywhere the block appears. This step-by-step walkthrough shows you exactly how to create, copy, and manage synced blocks in Notion without duplicating work.
Steps
- Open the Notion page containing the content you want to sync, then highlight the block you want to reuse.
- Click the six-dot icon beside the selected block to open the block menu.
- Select Turn into from the menu, then choose Synced block to convert the content.
- Click Copy on the newly created synced block to copy it to your clipboard.
- Open the other Notion page where you want the same content to appear, then paste the synced block into that page.
- Edit the synced block from either page — changes will automatically update everywhere the block is used.
- Return to the original page to confirm your synced block reflects all changes made from the other page.
