You can stream YouTube videos on Discord by using the built-in screen share feature inside any voice channel. This method lets all voice channel members watch and hear the video in real time without any third-party tools.
Steps
- Open the Discord desktop app and join a voice channel by clicking its name in the left sidebar.
- Click the Share Your Screen button in the voice control panel at the bottom of the screen.
- In the screen share panel, select the Application Window tab and choose your browser from the list of open applications.
- Go to youtube.com and open the video you want to play in Discord.
- Press play on the video — Discord voice channel members will see and hear it in real time through your stream.
- To stop, return to Discord and click the Stop Streaming button in the voice control panel.
