Use this interactive demo to learn how to share your Notion calendar with teammates or the public.

Quick summary

Sharing a Notion calendar lets you grant teammates or external users access via a direct email invite or a public shareable link. You can control permissions by setting access to Can view to keep your calendar data safe while staying collaborative.

Steps

  1. Open your Notion calendar database and click the Share button in the upper-right corner.
  2. To invite someone directly, enter their email address, set their permission level, and click Invite.
  3. Open the General access dropdown and select Anyone on the web with link to enable public sharing.
  4. Set the permission to Can view to restrict editing access.
  5. Click Copy link and share it with anyone you want to view your Notion calendar.

📌 Why this matters

Notion's calendar sharing feature makes it easy for teams and individuals to collaborate around shared schedules without losing control over their data. By supporting both direct email invites and public shareable links with configurable permissions, Notion eliminates friction in cross-team coordination. The ability to set access to Can view ensures sensitive project timelines stay protected while remaining visible to stakeholders. This makes Notion a powerful all-in-one workspace for teams that need flexible, permission-controlled calendar collaboration.
