In Jira, you can reorder child issues inside an epic by using the drag handle to move each issue to your preferred position. This gives project teams full control over issue priority and sequence without leaving the list view.
Steps
- In your Jira space, find and select the epic you want to edit.
- Hover your mouse cursor over a child issue and tap its corresponding drag handle.
- Choose the position where you wish to move the selected child issue (e.g., Move to top).
- Repeat the same steps until all issues are in your desired position.
- The child issues in the selected epic will be reordered accordingly.
