Use this interactive demo to learn how to autoplay YouTube videos on your Facebook Page.

Quick summary

You can embed YouTube videos on a Facebook Page using the YouTube Tab app, allowing videos to play automatically without any coding. This step-by-step process connects your YouTube Channel to Facebook and enables autoplay so visitors see your content instantly.

Steps

  1. Go to facebook.com and sign in to your account or Facebook Page.
  2. Search for the YouTube Tab app or integration, then click Use App to add it to your Facebook Page.
  3. Open studio.youtube.com and copy your YouTube Channel ID or User ID from the address bar — it appears after /channel/ in the URL.
  4. Go back to Facebook, open the YouTube Tab > Application Settings, then paste your YouTube Channel ID or User ID into the channel field.
  5. Return to YouTube Studio, open Videos (Content), select the video you want to feature, click the three-dot menu, then select Get shareable link.
  6. Go back to Facebook and paste the copied video link into the featured video field in the YouTube Tab settings.
  7. Enable options such as Autoplay and Load More Videos, then click Save Settings.
  8. Return to your Facebook Page and confirm the YouTube tab appears with your embedded videos playing automatically from your channel.

📌 Why this matters

Embedding YouTube videos on a Facebook Page with autoplay enabled helps brands maximize video content reach across multiple platforms without duplicating effort. By using the YouTube Tab app integration, page admins can surface their latest YouTube content directly on Facebook, keeping audiences engaged without leaving the platform. This cross-platform video strategy boosts watch time, increases follower engagement, and ensures your YouTube channel consistently drives traffic from your Facebook presence. It is an essential tactic for social media managers and content creators looking to unify their video marketing workflow.
