Steps
- On your Notion page, type /table view and select Table view to insert a new database.
- Name the database Budget Tracker.
- Click the Name column header and rename it to Expense, then add budget items such as rent, grocery, and utilities.
- Click the + icon on the right side of the table to add a new column and select Number as the property type.
- Rename the new column Budgeted Amount.
- Click the + icon again, add another Number property, and rename it Actual Amount.
- Enter your planned budget under Budgeted Amount and your real spending under Actual Amount.
- Add more rows as needed to track the rest of your expenses.
- Click the two-headed arrow to Open as full page for an expanded view of your budget tracker.
