Linking text to a slide in PowerPoint lets you create interactive, non-linear presentations where clicking highlighted text jumps viewers directly to a specific slide. This is done using the Insert Link dialog and the Place in This Document option.
Steps
- Highlight the text you want to turn into a link.
- Go to the Insert tab in the PowerPoint ribbon.
- Select Link from the Insert tab options.
- Choose Place in This Document in the Insert Hyperlink dialog.
- Select the target slide you want the text to jump to.
- Click OK to apply the link and save your changes.
