Use this interactive demo to learn how to connect your Notion workspace to Jira in minutes.

Quick summary

The Notion–Jira integration lets teams sync Jira issues directly into their Notion workspace by adding the connection through Notion's built-in Marketplace. Once connected, Jira data flows into Notion so project information stays current without switching tools.

Steps

  1. In Notion, click Marketplace in the left sidebar.
  2. In the Marketplace panel, click Connections.
  3. Click the Search icon.
  4. Type Jira in the search bar.
  5. Click Jira from the search results.
  6. In the Jira connection panel, click Get connection.
  7. In the preview panel, click Add for workspace.
  8. In the window that appears, click Get started.
  9. Fill out the required fields: email, site URL, and API token.
  10. Click Continue to finish setting up the Jira connection.
  11. Your Notion workspace is now connected to Jira, so you can start syncing Jira information into Notion.

📌 Why this matters

Integrating Notion with Jira eliminates the need to manually copy issue data between tools, keeping engineering and project teams aligned in one place. The native Notion–Jira connection syncs live Jira issues directly into Notion pages, reducing context-switching and improving cross-functional visibility. For teams that rely on Jira for issue tracking and Notion for documentation or planning, this integration bridges the gap between execution and strategy. It takes only minutes to set up via the Notion Marketplace, making it accessible to any workspace admin without developer support.
