The Jira and PagerDuty integration lets teams link incident alerts directly to Jira Cloud issues via PagerDuty's Service Extensions. Setting it up takes just minutes using the Extensions menu and a Jira connection code.
Steps
- On the PagerDuty main dashboard, hover over Integrations in the top menu bar and click Extensions.
- Under the Service Extensions tab, click the New Extension button.
- Click the Extension menu to open the list of available extension types.
- Select Jira Cloud from the available extension options.
- Click Continue to Configuration to proceed to the setup screen.
- Tap Add Account in the top-right corner of the configuration page.
- Retrieve your Jira connection code and enter it into the provided input field.
- Click Connect Jira Account to authenticate and link the account.
- Your Jira account is now fully integrated with PagerDuty.
