  2. Tap 'Explore More Apps' to open the Atlassian Marketplace.
  3. Use the search bar to search for 'Clockify'.
  4. Find and select 'Clockify: Time Tracking & Timesheet' from the suggested results.
  5. Click 'Get It Now' in the top-right corner of the Clockify app listing.
  6. Confirm the Jira site you want to connect, then click 'Review'.
  7. Click 'Get It Now' again to agree to the terms and complete the installation.
  8. Open a Jira ticket and tap 'Clockify' under the Automation section.
  9. Enter your Clockify API key into the input field and tap 'Update'.
  10. Your Jira account is now fully integrated with Clockify.

📌 Why this matters

Integrating Clockify with Jira lets teams track time directly on Jira issues without switching between tools, making project time logging faster and more accurate. The Clockify Jira integration syncs time entries with tasks automatically, giving project managers real-time visibility into billable hours and team productivity. For organizations that rely on Jira for project management, adding Clockify time tracking eliminates manual data entry and reduces reporting errors. This integration is essential for teams that need to accurately measure effort per ticket for client billing, sprint planning, or resource allocation.
