Quick summary
Importing a GeoJSON file into QGIS lets you visualize geographic data as a vector layer on your map. You can add it via the Add Vector Layer dialog by selecting Protocol as the source type and GeoJSON as the protocol.
Steps
- On the top menu, click Layer, then select Add Layer, and choose Add Vector Layer.
- Choose Protocol as the Source Type.
- Choose GeoJSON as the Protocol Type.
- Click the Add button to import the file.
- The GeoJSON file is now added to the project. A new layer appears in the Layers Panel — enable it to view its features on the map.
