How to Import Basemap in QGIS

Steps

1. Click 'Layer' on the top menu, then select 'Add Layer' and choose 'Add WMS/WMTS Layer'.
2. On the new window, click 'New' to create a new connection.
3. Enter the name and service URL of the map to be used.
4. Click 'OK' to save the connection details.
5. Click 'Connect' to establish the connection to the WMS/WMTS service.
6. Select a layer from the list of available layers.
7. Click 'Add' to add the selected layer to your QGIS project.
8. Click 'Close' to dismiss the dialog.
9. Go back to the QGIS dashboard and confirm the basemap layer has been added to the Layers Panel.
