Quick summary
Notion does not have a built-in option to hide a database, but you can use a toggle list as a workaround to collapse and conceal any database from your Notion page view.
Steps
- Open the Notion page that contains the database you want to hide.
- Click below the database, type /toggle list, and select Toggle list from the menu.
- Confirm the toggle list is now available and ready to contain the database.
- Hover over the database until the six-dot handle appears on the left side.
- Click and drag the six-dot handle toward the toggle and drop the database inside the Toggle list.
- Verify your database is now hidden inside the toggle — note this is a workaround since Notion lacks a native hide option.
- Click the toggle arrow to collapse it and click again to fully hide the database from page view.
