Quick summary
Students can upgrade Notion for free by verifying their school email address to activate the Education Plus plan. The process takes just a few clicks inside Notion's Settings panel and requires no credit card.
Steps
- Click the workspace name in the left sidebar to open the workspace menu.
- In the dropdown menu, click Settings.
- In the settings panel, click Upgrade plan.
- Click Get the education plan on the plans page.
- Sign in or verify your account using your school email address.
- Wait for Notion to upgrade your workspace automatically.
- Your Notion account is now upgraded to the free Education Plus plan if your school email is eligible.
