The Picture Format tab in PowerPoint gives you a full set of tools to edit, enhance, and resize images directly on your slide. From removing backgrounds to applying artistic effects and adjusting alignment, you can control every visual aspect of a photo without leaving the presentation.
Steps
- Select the photo you want to format inside the slide canvas of your PowerPoint presentation.
- Go to the top menu bar and click 'Picture Format' to open the formatting ribbon.
- In the first ribbon section, use the available options to edit the picture, remove its background, or erase specific objects.
- In the next section, enhance the image color using Corrections, Color, Artistic Effects, and Transparency options.
- Use the Quick Styles, Picture Border, and Picture Effects options to format the overall layout and appearance of the image.
- Adjust the picture alignment using options such as Bring Forward and Send Backward in the next ribbon section.
- To resize the image, use the cropping options and manual resolution input in the second-to-last ribbon section.
- For advanced formatting, tap 'Format Pane' and 'Animate as Background' in the final ribbon section.
- Your selected image will now be fully formatted using both basic and advanced customization options.
