You can export a Notion template as a file by using the three-dot menu and selecting your preferred format such as Markdown, CSV, or others. This lets you save, share, or back up any Notion page or database outside of the Notion platform.
Steps
- Open Notion and navigate to the page with the template, then click the template button to load the template content.
- Once the template content appears, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the page.
- Select Export from the dropdown menu.
- Choose your preferred export format, such as Markdown & CSV for page content or CSV for database content.
- Click the Export button to confirm your selection.
- Wait for Notion to finish preparing the file, then download the exported file to your device.
- Your Notion template is now ready to save or share outside Notion.
