Quick summary

You can export a Notion table to Google Sheets by using Notion's built-in Export feature to download a CSV file, then importing that file directly into Google Sheets. This step-by-step process takes just a few minutes and requires no third-party tools.

Steps

  1. Open the Notion page that contains the table you want to export.
  2. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the Notion page.
  3. Select Export from the menu.
  4. In the export window, set Export format to Markdown & CSV to generate a downloadable CSV file of your table data.
  5. Choose a save location for the exported ZIP file, then click Save.
  6. Open the exported ZIP folder and locate the .csv file inside.
  7. Open Google Sheets.
  8. Click File then select Import.
  9. Click the Upload tab, then click Browse and select the exported CSV file from your Notion export folder.
  10. Choose your preferred import location, then click Import data.
  11. Your Notion table will now appear fully loaded in Google Sheets.

📌 Why this matters

Exporting a Notion table to Google Sheets lets teams bridge two of the most popular productivity tools without manual data re-entry. By converting Notion database content into a CSV and importing it into Google Sheets, users unlock powerful spreadsheet formulas, chart creation, and real-time collaboration features native to Google Workspace. This workflow is essential for analysts, project managers, and operations teams who manage data in Notion but need Google Sheets for reporting or sharing with stakeholders outside Notion. Mastering this export process saves hours of copy-paste work and keeps data accurate across platforms.
