You can embed a Google Doc in Notion by copying the shareable link from Google Docs and pasting it into a Notion embed block. This lets you display a live document preview directly inside any Notion page without switching apps.
Steps
- Open the Google Docs file you want to embed.
- Click Share in the top-right corner of the document.
- Under General access, change the permission to Anyone with the link if needed.
- Click Copy link.
- Open the Notion page where you want to embed the Google Doc.
- Click a blank space on the page.
- Type /embed to open the block menu.
- Click Embed from the block options.
- Paste the Google Docs link into the embed field.
- Click Embed link.
- Your Google Docs file will now appear as an embedded preview inside your Notion page.
