Quick summary
Editing a Jira board lets you update board details such as the board name and other settings directly from the Boards view. You can access Edit Settings in just a few clicks using the More Actions menu on any board.
Steps
- On Jira's main home page, go to the top navigation bar and click the search bar.
- Choose Boards from the available tabs to view all your boards.
- Find the board you want to edit, then click the More Actions button next to it.
- Select Edit Settings from the list of options in the dropdown menu.
- Click on the field you want to update, then type a new value or choose from the available options.
- Confirm your changes — the Jira board details will be updated and a success confirmation will appear.
