Quick summary
Notion has no single duplicate workspace button, so copying a workspace requires moving pages between workspaces manually. This step-by-step process lets you transfer all pages and databases to a new Notion workspace while preserving nested content.
Steps
- Understand that Notion has no single Duplicate workspace button — content must be copied page by page.
- In the original workspace, create a main page to hold all the content you want to copy.
- Drag the pages and databases you want to transfer into that main page.
- Click the ••• menu beside the main page, then select Move to to send a copy to the new workspace.
- Click the drop-down arrow to change workspaces and select your target workspace.
- In the Duplicate page menu, choose where you want to duplicate the page within the new workspace.
- Confirm by clicking I understand, duplicate and wait for Notion to copy the page and all nested content.
- Open the new workspace, drag out the nested pages, then manually recreate workspace settings, members, permissions, and integrations.
