Use this interactive demo to learn how to build a professional portfolio page in Notion.

Quick summary

This demo shows you how to create a portfolio template in Notion by structuring sections like About Me, Projects, Sample Works, and Contact Information. You can reuse the finished layout instantly by duplicating the Notion page whenever needed.

Steps

  1. Open Notion and click New page in the left sidebar, then name the page Portfolio Template.
  2. Add a short intro section with your name, role, and a brief description.
  3. Type /heading to add sections: About Me, Projects, Sample Works, and Contact Information.
  4. Under About Me, add short bullet points about your skills, background, or experience.
  5. Under Projects, add your project names or links.
  6. Under Sample Works, use Gallery view or Image blocks to showcase your work.
  7. Under Contact Information, add your phone number, email, or social links.
  8. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and enable Full width to give your portfolio more space.
  9. Review the finished portfolio template and refine formatting or add graphics as needed.
  10. Duplicate the page whenever you want to reuse the layout for future use.

📌 Why this matters

Building a portfolio template in Notion lets professionals and creatives centralize their work samples, project history, and contact details in one shareable, structured page. Notion's flexible block system — including Gallery views, image blocks, and heading commands — makes it easy to design a polished portfolio without any coding. A reusable Notion portfolio template saves time by letting you duplicate the layout for different clients or roles instantly. This approach is ideal for freelancers, designers, developers, and job seekers who want a no-cost, customizable alternative to dedicated portfolio tools.
